History: Rajmachi Fort, situated in the Sahyadri mountain range, holds a history dating back to the Maratha Empire. It was strategically important as a lookout point for many trade routes.

Known For: The fort is fondly known for its twin peaks – Shrivardhan and Manaranjan , which offer a panoramic view of beautiful valleys and surrounding hills.

Specialty & Uniqueness: Rajmachi boasts the well known Kondhane caves and the Shrivardhan plateau. It's a Go-To place for trekker's during the monsoon, with numerous waterfalls en route.

Trek Type: Moderate Trek

Location: Near Lonavala City, Pune district

How to Reach: From Mumbai or Pune, you can reach Lonavala by train. Hire a local rickshaw to Tungarli Lake and then trek to Udhewadi.
