Why weekends are not suitable for a Lonavala trip.

Hi All, I'm a localite from Lonavala. I have been born and brought up here.                                                            Apart from the seasons, the monsoon season is the craziest in Lonavala. Why would it not be? Everyone wants to the witness the purest of all airs, the lush greenery, the fog , the clouds travelling the mountains, the drizzles, the heavy rainfalls while trekking, the amazing chikki, garmagaram vadapav and what not! They don't stop loving this place at all, they never give up on this nature's beauty. So I have give...

How I could cure my PCOD.

Hi All, I am writing this blog explicitly  from my experience and do not promote any kind of therapy or medication. However, I believe this journey of mine might help many of those girls and women who have already given up on the thought of getting their PCOD cured. I know this because I was in the same shoes few months ago and had already given up on curing of PCOD. However, I would consider this as a mix of patience and proper routine. Trust me I would not be boring you the basic diet and exercise routine for weightloss which you must have been hearing for more than 100 times being a PCOD patient. This would be different I promise. So it began when I was just 15 years old when my mom realized that my periods are irregular for a long span of 2 years. The first consultation I took was from a homeopathic doctor, playing the safe game that time:) The answer that disappointed me was that my weight is being the problem to my PCOD and hence I have to reduce my weight in order to regular...

Only the locals can guide you here : Bhimeshwar falls

Hi all, so on our recent trip to Karnataka, one of the worth watching and visiting waterfalls was Bhimeshwar falls. It was a totally offbeat place which was not known to many people except the locals. The roads were so dangerous that only the locals could drive their jeep to this place if you did not wish to walk through a difficult 1 hour trail to this place. The trail was physically challenging and the muddy road made it more difficult to hold onto the shoe grips. However, the view was worth the wait!!!! This is the picture of the beautiful Bhimeshwar falls. Lets take a detailed look at it. Located in the verdant landscape of Karnataka, the Bhimeshwar Waterfall stands as a testament to nature's unique beauty and the wonders it can create. Situated in the nearby area to the renowned Jog Falls, this unique waterfall offers a tranquil escape for those who wish to witness a blend of natural splendor and historical significance.  History The history of  Bhimeshwar Waterfall...

Art and Therapy

Hello everyone. Today I would be simply talking about the art and therapy. Most of us who are raised as a 90s kid or a 60s kid, art was not something which was very appreciated those times. even today if we see, not everyone is convinced with the fact that Art itself can be a source of earning and your therapy together. In fact I think, one who earns through art, never needs a therapy to pay for. Their art is their therapy itself.  I can firmly tell this with my experience.  Many of us think, only counselling, meditation and other traditional ways can be a part of therapies. This cant be very true at times. Sometimes, a person just needs to spend time with himself doing an activity which would not just help him spend time, but which would help him channelise his energy into a direction that would show him further path, or which would channelise energy to the paths which seem blocked. I simply do this by taking a plain paper, a black pen and some rounders and D. Yes you h...

How we enjoyed a 5 Day Karnataka trip in just 7000 Rupees

Hi All, so as discussed in the last blog, let's find all the answers to the expenses that were taken care of during our trip to Karnataka. Now since, we had to travel to Panvel in order to board on our train to Kumta, we spent around 275/- each on our cab. The cab was from local rental firms and we bargained a bit as well. The train tickets were around 1k each and we managed with the sleeper class of the Indian railways, which was pretty clean and decent to travel for almost 11 hours. The best part about this train travel was the amazing scenes which we could witness. Greens, Blues and fresh air everywhere.  Once we reached Kumta, we took a shared rickshaw to reach the Kumta bus stop from where we took local bus to travel to Honnavar, It just costed us around 35/- per head. We then rented cab form the rest fo the 4 days since we had to cover Yana caves, waterfalls near Yana caves, the Jog falls, the hidden areas near and around the village of Jog falls, Murudeshwara temple, G...
